Aims and Objectives of the Association
* To provide a forum of the students of faculty of education in particular to meet educationally and socially in the interest various programs
* To initiate projects and keep healthy interaction of members with their lecturers and all relevant professional bodies whose aims and objectives are related to ours
* To promote understanding with and among her members and all other student bodies recognized by the university authority
* To promote and reward excellence in knowledge and ideals of educational works among our members
* To uphold the rules and cherished traditions of the University and faculty of Education
* To uphold as sacred the universal talents of education and learning that is service to humanity through the ideas of education and practical application of learning and knowledge transfer
* To promote the interests of our members against any form of Operation within and outside the association
ABOUT FACULTY OF EDUCATION
Faculty of Education provides the pedagogical knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge to make an effective teacher.
There are presently five Departments in the faculty of Education namely; Educational Management, Human Sports and Health Education, Language Arts and Social SCience Education, Educational Foundation and counselling psychology and Science
and Technology Education.
It is the largest Faculty in the University and accomodates 22 programmes. All programmes of the Faculty are approved by the National Universities Commission.
